Retail Council of Canada

Was asked to shot an event this past Wednesday, but I’ve been a bit lazy to post about it.  Thanks Simona:)

It was a full day event which we enjoyed very much.  Met a lot of nice people and were fed pretty well.   Although I couldn’t really be as creative as I wanted to for this sort of event.    I doubt they wanted anything artistic.

Cheers and thanks for looking

Jessicasmeri - That was nice. Thank you for sharing this one.

Baby Alexis and her beautiful eyes

I had the pleasure of meeting this little girl on the weekend.   I’ve yet to meet such a fun and happy baby.  She was able to smile throughout the whole photoshoot.   You know how your cheeks start to hurt after a while:)  She also had the most beautiful eyes.

Thanks Lori and Brian for giving me the opportunity to take pictures of Alexis,  she was amazing.

Jon - Awesome job. The portrait shots are working well for you. The white background really brings it all together.

Sharpening up my skills for spring

Spring is approaching fast and I have a few photo shoots planned.  So I decided to revisit some of my old work and post process it for different results.  I chose Justin and Erin’s engagement shoot.    Back in the day I was confined to black/white, sepia and plain out boring normal.  All these pictures were processed with alternative warm colours for spring and summer.    I’m also so itchy to use my new camera this year:)

Enjoy and don’t be afraid to let me know what you think…….

Gabriella. little angel at 5 months old

I had the pleasure of taking Gabriella’s pictures this weekend.  She’s truly a special girl and I can’t wait to take more pictures of her when it gets warmer outside.    I was looking forward to taking these for a while.   Before I take any pictures,  I always study up on the shots that I want to take and go look at everyone else’s work for more inspiration.  Two days before the shoot I saw these amazing white background baby shots and I just had to replicate it.     Soooooooo, I had to build a custom backdrop holder and learn this in about two days and I was a bit discouraged because it was difficult to grasp.    It all came together in the last minute and I’m happy with the shots.

Just wanted to say thanks to Adir and Deborah for giving me the opportunity to take pictures of Gabriella.

Enjoy and thanks for looking:)
